Our Name
We chose to name our community "the Perfect Community" for two reasons. The first is that the purpose of the community is to perfect government, justice, and life in general. Therefore, the name really fits this idea. Also "The Perfect Community" sounds very appealing. Making an appealing name might help the community get residents.
Declaration of Independence
We the people of The Perfect Community strive to ensure perfection, safety and justice. We believe that each one of our citizens must be treated equally and with respect. Since living in a previous community, we have found numerous reasons that have discarded the aspects and ethics that we promote in our present community. We have discovered that the previous justice system has not worked for certain citizens. Individuals with little income will have a lawyer that is not as intelligent as an individual with a greater income. Therefore, citizens with a lower salary would not have as much back-up support as a person with a higher salary. Not having violence guidelines was another great issue with the previous community. Numerous individuals have lived in conditions where he or she did not feel secure.
We the people of The Perfect Community have a justice system where the defendant must defend for his or herself. The defendant must not hire a lawyer of any sort to assist him or her in the trial. This change that we brought about in our community will ensure that money is not an issue in trials. Our guidelines for violence are incredibly secure, in which our citizens will stay free from harm at all times. We believe that when we allow an individual into The Perfect Community, they must be inspected by the guards to make sure there is no item of distruptance. These items would include weapons of any sort, drugs, and alcohol. We the people of The Perfect Community will be a society whose ethics and aspects are to promote safety, equality, respect, justice, and perfection.

Seal And Motto
Our animal, the bear, is featured in our community's seal. The motto; "Perfection is achieved", explains how our community is 100% perfect and that each person follows all the rules to make the environment orderly and not stressful.
Utopian Animal
The Bear, a very powerful animal for a powerful community, it is strong, intelligent, much like the Perfect Community. We chose this animal for it's incredible strength. The bear represents how we are a strong community together. The bear is also menacing, like we are menacing towards violence and other crimes. Bears are a symbol for the people in our community.
List of Rules
1. No weapons, of any kind, are allowed in the community. This rule is in place because we want our residents to feel safe and at home. Weapons just cause problems for the residents.
2. No violence is allowed in the community. This is also so that our residents feel safe and so that there are limited crimes commited.
3. No stealing of another person’s belongings is allowed in the community. This is because everyone has a right to their property, and we want residents to feel safe.
4. If a trial occurs, the person must defend him or herself in the trial so that money is not an option for hiring a lawyer.
5. No lying to a person of authority is allowed. This is because authorities need to everything that they can to keep the community safe, and to keep the desired perfection in order.
6. The elected officials have complete say in deciding the fate of a trial. This is to limit arguments between residents.
7. All citizens must obey and respect what the elected officials tell them since the elected officials are in charge to keep the community in order.
8. An election must be held every two years on January first to elect 10 new officials to replace the last ones. Is is to make sure that the people of the Perfect Community have a large say in the government.
9. No citizen is able to have possession of illegal items such as drugs and/or alcohol because if a citizen is under the influence they may be a disruption or may not be safe enough to be in the community.
10. If a citizen wants to leave the community indefinitely, he or she must let an official know so that they can document the dismissal. This is so that officials know who is in their community, and can make judgments from that knowledge.
11. You must be eighteen or older to vote. This is to make sure that all decisions are accurate.

Governing Body
The Perfect Community's government is structured in the style of an oligarchy. The government consists of a group of ten elected officials who will decide all rules and regulations of the community. Each decison or obstacle that arrives will always be taken care of by the officials. In their office, they will decide by a group how to take on the challenge and what they will do about the issue. If a trial occurs, the defendant must defend his or herself and then the elected officials will have complete say in whether or not a punishment will take place and what the punishment is. If a crime does occur and the officals do say a punishment should take place, then punishments will reflect the crime. Such that if a crime involved minimum stealing of a person's goods and no person was injured, then the punishment would be smaller than if a murder was involved. The goverment will be selected with new officials every two years.
Invitation to Friends
Dear family and friends,
Hi everyone! I missed you all so much! How is it going back in the old community? Well, it's going great here! As you all probably know, the community I moved to is The Perfect Community. The society is wonderful; I love it so much more than the old community. Actually, it would be great if you all could move here with me! The officials treat me and the rest of my neighbors nicely, with respect. Life here is also peaceful and not stressful. I feel safe and protected because of the no violence policy. It's great since one of the rules here is that there are no illegal substances or weapons allowed! Also there never are crowds or traffic, since the officials only allow a certain amount of people into the community. The motto, perfection is achieved, is always applied to each and every citizen, which makes the community so orderly, unstressful, and calm. The officials strive to try to get each person to follow all the rules to make sure the environment is nice. Oh, actually, I just checked with one of the guards, who have connections with the officials, told me that there are five openings in the community's maximum population! That is perfect for all of you guys to come! Write back if you all are interested in joining and living with me.
Hope to here from you all soon,
Sarah

This morning I arrived at school at 9:00 AM, the first class I attended was earth science, we learned about the way earth was formed. The next class was English literature, we started reading a new book. After English I went to algebra. After algebra we went to lunch, when lunch was over we went to history, in history we learn all about how The Perfect Community came to be. ~Anthony

Today was the election day for 2013! I was so excited because this meant we could elect ten new officials for public office. I voted to keep the ones we had last year because I think that did a good job last year. The results will be coming out tomorrow. I was allowed to come into work late today (9:30) because of the election. I hope that the people I voted for win! ~Bill

My job, being a guard for my community, was really interesting today! A few people in our society decided to leave for their own personal reasons, so there were openings for new citizens available! There was a line by the gate with many people, hoping to join our community, but sadly the process was first come, first serve. In order to decide who we should welcome to our society, we needed to check each person's history and pat them down to make sure that they didn't bring any illegal substances or weapons with them. The first few people in line fitted these rules, and now they are living in The Perfect Community. Welcome citizens! ~Sarah
